I have been working hard getting these chair decorations finished, I am thinking I will add some gold thread to surround the candle flame. I really need to get some other jobs done first and put up the Christmas tree etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Playing again
Isn't it amazing what you can do to a piece of work 19 years later!!! At the time I thought it looked OK!!!! I do think the quilting improves it and it gave me a chance to PLAY AGAIN!!!!!!!
I think it is time I put my machine away and do some real work!!!!!!!!!!!! Like dusting and polishing Ha Ha I don't have anything to polish thank goodness but I may find some dusting if I look hard enough!!!!!!

Catch up
There is a story that goes with this piece of work but I am finding it a bit hard to concentrate at the moment.
Here's my Halberg Challenge " Green Sleeves" I have used the theme to create a 12" x 12" to fit in with my Kiwiquilters ones.
When I was at High School we did an item at the end of the year. It was for PE and we danced to "Green Sleeves" we wore black swimming togs with green Dyed curtain fabric made into lose fitting tops and held chiffon scarves.

Painting and Stamping Day
Well I really had some fun today, painted fabric, then made my own stamps and printed them onto my painted fabric. I don't think I will have time to do any housework until I get this out of my system. Oh boy what FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still have more fabric I painted today which is not dry yet, so I wonder what I may do tomorrow. I have just added more sunflowers which I think has made it look a lot better!!!!!

Monday Inchie "CHANGE"
I made this quite quickling, I realised I should have put the 5 cent piece the other way up so you could see it was a New Zealand coin. Anyway the little hedgehog is really cute!!!! OOPS!!!!!!! the coin is an Australian coin Just had a little peep at the back thought it was strange it having a hedgehog on it, I was in such a hurry to make this inchie and it was just it laying around.

GEOMETRY 12" X 12"
I am not sure if this is really what is expected from the word "GEOMETRY" as you can tell I am trying to do a series, making them in some way tell parts my life story. August is "ORANGE" I have an idea, it will be pushing the bounderies I think!
As these are just a challenge it doesn't really matter to anyone but myself, I have to admit I am enjoying the process of these challenges.

I have finished the Quilt I am going to donate to the school for a raffle. The blocks I won at Rose City Quilters Tote and Gloat day. I am hoping to make a book to go with the quilt with the nursey rhymes in and the makers of each block.
Here is a Dino quilt the first of many (I hope) to make for Tye's school Gala day in Oct. My 12 year old grand daughter did most of the piecing while staying with me a few weeks ago.
