RCQ Tote and Gloat Challenge

This is my Rose City Quilters Tote and Gloat Challenge. At this time most people will already be there. The theme was inspired by a piece of music or singer, Mine is inspired by "Gene Pitney's Song Autumn Leaves"
Well I will be of to the Tote and Gloat shortly, and will try not to spend to much money. They are having a great speaker this afternoon.

Marking the Quilt

Well I am not sure if anyone can work out what I am trying to say here, I love to use Glad Press'n'seal to mark dark quilts. I use this idea for feathers and other biggish shapes BUT found out doing loopity loops or stippling on it is NOT A GOOD IDEA. Far to many little pieces to pull out.


Another Challenge almost finished (I will store it away safely until August) that will make 4 finished and 2 to go.
After the 1st of May I will be able to post my first Challenge of this year.

Cara's name bug

This small wall hanging has been made by using some painted fabric. Painted by my friend Anne and the centre name bug is my grand daughters name, I thought it would be a nice way to use some of her work that she had been playing around with one day while she was staying with me.
By the way the leaves on the quilt are miniature maple leaves.

I made this lap quilt for my sister who loves music.

Apron

Here is a quilt I made a few years ago! I don't know how to make a slide show of my work so I thought while I cannot post my challenge photo's until they have been shown, I will post a few of my older quilts from time to time!!!!

Safe Keeping

Saturday I was supposed to go out for the day with Hubby, I slept in and couldn't find the energy to get ready in a hurry so I stayed home and he went out without me. ( to watch rugby ) He left I found some energy got the housework done and went to my machine. I have now finished another challenge, sorry can't post a photo YET!!! because this one does not have to be finished until the first Monday in December 2010. I thought how will I ever remember where I have put it!!!! I hope my cell phone dosen't die because I have put a reminder in it to tell me where I have put it for safe keeping.

First Challenge

I have been working on my first challenge for this year today, So far I am very pleased with what I have done!! Not sure if I will get time before next Tuesday to get back to the machine, but who knows what might happen. The weather here has been cold today may have to light a fire tomorrow!!!! Monday evening I have a meeting to go to, I have got myself onto a exhibition committee, (Well Done!!!) Not!!!!!!!!

1st Challenge under way

I have just started my first challenge for this year, I am trying something different but won't post any photo's until after the deadline date. It may work It may be just a big mistake which it will end up in the rubbish with NO photo's
