Snow in FEILDING

We have lived in this house for 38 years and this is only the second time I have ever known it to snow here, very exciting.

GEOMETRY 12" X 12"

I am not sure if this is really what is expected from the word "GEOMETRY" as you can tell I am trying to do a series, making them in some way tell parts my life story. August is "ORANGE" I have an idea, it will be pushing the bounderies I think!
As these are just a challenge it doesn't really matter to anyone but myself, I have to admit I am enjoying the process of these challenges.

RANGITIKEI COUNTRY QUILTERS EXHIBITION

Here is my very talented friend Jean, working hard at one of her many machines. A demonstration at the Rangitikei Country Quilters Exhibition. A wonderful show ladies Well Done!!!!
As I left there was a lady thanking people for there visit and handing out lovely mint flavoured Chocolates. They even had a quilt pattern on them, how cute!!!!!

5 Inchies

OK! So this gets me up to 8th of August. Take note of the book, just had to put the " New Zealand Quilter" on this one, it has a photo of one of my quilts in it.

I have finished the Quilt I am going to donate to the school for a raffle. The blocks I won at Rose City Quilters Tote and Gloat day. I am hoping to make a book to go with the quilt with the nursey rhymes in and the makers of each block.



Here is a Dino quilt the first of many (I hope) to make for Tye's school Gala day in Oct. My 12 year old grand daughter did most of the piecing while staying with me a few weeks ago.
