On Saturday 13th Oct 2012 the day started at 9-30am with a class with Barbara Pritchard making a notebook cover. We used water soluble wax pastels to make our background fabric, then added flowers which we then free motion quilted them down. I left the class early because I was going to a lecture in Palmerston North. The lecture was given by Rosalie Dace she is from Durban, South Africa (www.
rosaliedace.co.za/) Very interesting lecture. From there I had to rush off to a surprise dinner for friend I used to work with many many years ago it was her 60th birthday. So today I am just lazying about, I have finished the notebook cover today adding some beads!!!!!!!!!!
