There were amazing quilts in the show and tell in the morning. Lots of shops to shop at and another view of all the lovely quilts.
After lunch we had the most amazing speaker "Yvonne Brown" from the UK.
WOW!!! I will have try some of her technique's I bought her wonderful book. Read it cover to cover the next day. It has fantastic illustrations
My niece Claire and her friend Annette fron Auckland stayed with me for 4 days, we had such a great time together talking, sharing quilt stories, shopping, looking around at old sites with some lovely memories of old times.

Thanks for the lovely time. We really enjoyed the Tote and Gloat experience and it was great seeing you wins your prizes.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your prizes - very imaginative and well made! Good on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog, and the nice comments.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if all craft people are like me but I always doubt my work, thinking it could have been better. Having people who are like minded giving good comments keeps me going.
I know exactly what you mean when you say that you have so much you want to do. I am getting into my last years and feel that time may be running out and there is so much I want to do, but I love my crazy patchwork and I love the embellishment even more so I think I should concentrate on what I like best and let the other things take a back seat.
Maybe in the next life I will try sculpture or pottery or something, lol
By the way, I love the inchie's.
