Knitting
About a couple of weeks ago I celebrated a birthday I had some family members join us for dinner. I think we must have been talking about different things that we were into making when one of my sister talked about the way our mother used to knit. She would hold the wool in her left hand and she could knit really fast that way. So I was asked did I have some wool and knitting needles handy, of course I did. So Val started she the demonstration, then 5 more of us had a go at the knitting. Well after they all left the next day I thought I will have to do something with this piece of knitting. So below you can see I have put it on a canvas with the names of all who did some of the knitting. Tonight we draw it out as a raffle, I put all the names of the knitters in a hat and drew out one name, Pauline was the lucky winner.

love this Liz, I have also got into knitting again, we ususally get nice yarns at the next quilt show in the winter, a coupel of weekends away, they have some great NZ yarn sellers that come over here just for this show,I also just love KiwiQuilts fabrics and website, I made the Tiki kitset up, must get a pic of that as well.
