Red Santa

Two days ago I finished another challenge but cannot post a photo of it until the end of JUNE!!!!!
Just about finished this Santa it just needs a few finishing touches. Now on to the next project or maybe I may find something else that needs finishing. hahahah!!!!!!!!!!

Creative scrapbook

This what I have been working on for the last couple of days. I am very pleased with my result. Notice on the inside of the covers I have placed some small pieces of work. I made a paper backing to stitch the work on, then covered to opening with clear acetate. This scrapbook is to show the quilt challenges I have won awards with.

Just a couple of pic's to show how I spent Saturday 8th of May 2010.
I am sure the girls both enjoyed making these " Photo Albums with Creative Fabric Covers" They both used a treadle sewing machine to do the stitching.

Surprise

Will this was a great surprise Judged second in the advanced section. The judge was "Judy Coates Perez from Chicago, Illinois" . All the challenges were just beautiful. When I saw the competition I really didn't think I had a chance.
Judy was the speaker at Rose City Quilters Tote and Gloat what a wonderful lecture, it has inspired me to try more new things
