I had a fun painting this weekend

What can I say!!!!! I had so much fun yesterday stenciling this fabric, can't wait to do some more.
I washed it out this morning, ( which I should have left it a bit longer before washing) but what the heck I have no patience.  It is such a lovely sunny day it could be already dry, so soon I will check!!! Just might try and make a quick little quilt top using some of these fabric's

AND this morning while the other fabric was in the washing machine I thought I would have a go at marbling in shaving foam again.  I had done a little once before, this was a better result I think!!!!!!!

I DID IT AND IT IS NOT EVEN MIDDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well just had to make this I will add borders most likely will use some of my marbled fabric to show how you can use these fabric'.  The clour in this photo is not to good!!!! I think to much sunshine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just few others I have made!!!!!

 I made these four and sent to Rotorua.  All posted at the same time in the same postbox.  One arrived on the Thursday without a postdate on, two arrived on the Friday and one arrived on the Saturday, the last 3 did have the postdate on them. Interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   
 I hope this plant doesn't multiply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of her is enough!!!!!!!!!!!! 
  

Having a Fun Paint and Play Day!!!!!!!

 

Today we had a lot of fun playing and painting I think the photo's tell the story very well!!!!!!

I must say I really enjoyed the day watching and learning!!!!!! 

 I just had to go out to my little painting shed after the ladies had gone to have a play with my paints myself, I had been wanting to try this stenciling!!!!!!!!!!!!   I have now made a mug rug or is it a rug mug out of the fabric I painted and stenciled! Just love those butterflies!!!!!!


        

Lap Quilts from Painted Fabric

 At the beginning of the school holidays I looked after 2 foster children and two grandies  for a couple of days, so I needed to keep them busy.  I got the 10 and 7 and 5 year olds to paint fabric which I planned on making into a quilt for them.  I would have got them to draw pictures on the fabric BUT when I broke my ankle I could not have them again. I have now finished the quilts fir the 2 foster children and they have been delivered. I am pleased with the result I hope they like them to.

 

We also made Christmas Trees which they all enjoyed eating when they had finished making them.

January Update!!!!!!!

This what I have been making so far this year!!!!!  Not the most exciting stuff but it does help fill in the long hot days!!!!

 A little red work helped fill in some time as well!!!!!!!

When I can I can do about a half an hour on this piece below using my left foot on the foot control the only thing is my right foot get a bit tired and sore if I have it hanging for to long,  Enough of that it won't be long and things will be back to normal!!!!!!!!
