More painted, stencilled/screen printed Quilts!!!!!!!!!!

I am really getting into these painted quilts, the top one has been painted and printed with the help of a 5 year old little girl.  I am sure she enjoyed the process.

The green and blue one I used two colours to do the stencilling/screen printing!!!!!!
The pictures are done by using a combination of stencilling and screen printing if that makes any sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now all I have to do is bast it, quilt it and bind it!!!!!!!

Painted Quilts

The coloured fabric in this quilt was painted by my 7 year old Grandson. In January of this year, I have only just finished it this week.

 

This quilt I have been playing around with some painting and stencilling on fabric, then on the four cat blocks I have quilted each block different to see what it would look like.

This Quilt I have made with the help of my two and a half year old 

Grand daughter. The look on her little face when she saw the castles and stars that she had stencilled was so cute to see.

WOW!!!! What a  great day I had Saturday, I just can't believe my LUCK!!!!!

I did have some other exciting things happen but can't concentrate enough to put them into words at the moment so maybe a bit later in the week!!!!

We had a paper serviette to get our inspiration from (our own choice) at the moment  mine are not with me so I cannot  post a photo, Sorry........................

I have attended one class with her on Friday. then Cindy was the guest speaker at Tote and Gloat, today I will attend another class with Cindy.  Just couldn't sleep last night so had time to post this because my bags are ready for class.  You must all check out her amazing work I don't think I have seen anything more beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Sunday Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have finally finished the cushion covers I started at RCQs exhibition last year!!!! The red centre pieces are quilted on a treadle sewing machine.  

Here is a bag I have made for on online bag challenge for April I have yet to find someone to give it to!!!!!

This bag had to have some Free Motion Quilting on it!!!!!

This small wall hanging was made with the help of some Sunday school children, the children painted the fabric and one little boy drew the flowers.  I think it may hang in the church!!!!!!!!!

                                                      

I have made a couple of stencils myself so had to try them out,  I am pleased with the result!!!!!!!

Today (Sunday) We decided to go down to the beach for lunch.................................................

lunch was from Mr Grumpy's Fish and Chip shop at Foxton Beach which is about a half hours drive away from home. Very nice they were to!!!!!!

NOW I must get myself organised for next week, I am going to two quilting classes with Cindy Needham I am so looking forward to the two days of learning!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                

The beginning of a princess Quilt

Today my 2year old grand daughter and I  had fun screen printing on fabric.  Last week she painted the background fabric's and today we screen printed castles onto the already painted fabric's. We did 9 blocks and they are going to make a beautiful quilt.

What can I say!!!!! I had so much fun yesterday stenciling this fabric, can't wait to do some more.
I washed it out this morning, ( which I should have left it a bit longer before washing) but what the heck I have no patience.  It is such a lovely sunny day it could be already dry, so soon I will check!!! Just might try and make a quick little quilt top using some of these fabric's

AND this morning while the other fabric was in the washing machine I thought I would have a go at marbling in shaving foam again.  I had done a little once before, this was a better result I think!!!!!!!

I DID IT AND IT IS NOT EVEN MIDDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well just had to make this I will add borders most likely will use some of my marbled fabric to show how you can use these fabric'.  The clour in this photo is not to good!!!! I think to much sunshine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
