CARING Inchie

This weeks word is "Caring"
These inchies are really quite challenging as they are so small. While I was away I checked out one of those Dollar type of shops looking for itsy bitsy things, these little hearts are for nail art, I think they work well for these inchies.

POWERFUL Inchie

A little late with this inchie! Have been away for a very short break! Just a wee inchie showing how powerful ants are. While away I found these tiny tiny little lemon and lime thingy's, they are so tiny I was not sure how I would attach them. I have used gem glue to glue them down even that was very hard as they are so very very small. In the packet there is some more tiny tiny things which I thought may come in handy for inchies.

Two Little Ruru

This is a pattern from the New Zealand Quilter designed by Jenny Hunter. I just had to make it when I noticed the fabric on the wings it is a very old fabric AND I had some AND I found it, that was amazing as sometimes I cannot find something I had just a couple of days ago.
The background fabric looked very much like what I have used, but I painted my piece yesterday.
I will be giving this away.

RESULTS

Here are the results from my earlier post but you will have to wait for quite some time to see what I am going to be doing with these fabric's, I DO HAVE A PLAN!!!!!!!

A Painting Day

Just wanted to do some painting today. I think this is called sun painting lots of fun trying out all sorts of things to put on to the wet painted fabric and see what happens when it dries, waiting for it to dry is the hardest part. Well I have looked at two pieces and they have worked really well considering the paint colour is so light. I know it works better when using a darker colour paint.

Taking time to play around

Just taking a bit of time of from the cooking and cleaning. The woven fabric is some of my painted fabric's and the piece in the centre with the photo printed on is also a piece that is painted with dinosaurs done the same way the dolphins were done (On the purple fabric you can see them if you look closely.)
(Sun prints I think that is what it is called)
Anyway the pale green was to pale for the dinosaurs to show up. I will try some Dinosaurs on darker fabric some day soon, when time and weather allows me to. I have stitched this on my Janome 6600.
